A Message From the Instructors:
As The ArtSplot instructors, we provide a creative workplace and environment where students enjoy instruction on a personal level. Individual talents and abilities are embraced as an expressive means towards their growth and human development. Whether we are in the studio or in the field, conversation and observations between students, ourselves, and surroundings encourage artistic response and awareness.
As instructors of The ArtSplot, we believe that concrete accomplishments...finished pieces of artwork...are important achievements within the experience of our explorations. Of even more significance in the artistic related character development of those students involved in The ArtSplot summer programs is the actual process of creativity itself. Through the accomplishments of the students themselves, we feel that it is of great importance that each individual feels positive about and motivated by their artwork and their environment.
Sincerely,
Chelsea Smith, Tim Rooney, Allison McGree
